With its own private jetty and basic boat ramp, several other ramps and access points to both Lake Sorell and Lake Crescent nearby, The Doctor's is the ideal base for the keen angler.

Considered two of the best trout fishing lakes in Tasmania, there is no shortage of excellent fishing spots. Lake Crescent is well known for its large trout and recently some good fish have been caught in Lake Sorell. Lake Sorell has a rich history of trout fishing and is being tipped to become the top trout fishing Lake of Tasmania once more.
